Kicking off the infoAICert training journey: exploring the meaning of Artificial Intelligence

 

The 20th of Febraury marked the launch of the infoAIcert internal training program with the first session, “what do we talk about when we talk about Artificial Intelligence? A Brief Introduction.”
Leading the session was Professor Fabio Roli, principal investigator from the University of Genoa, expert in artificial intelligence and machine learning. With his clear and inspiring presentation, Professor Roli guided participants through the fundamental concepts, evolution, and challenges of AI, inviting them to reflect on how this transformative technology is reshaping research, innovation, and everyday life.

This first meeting was more than just an introduction! It was an opportunity to start building a shared understanding of AI within the infoAIcert community, fostering curiosity, dialogue, and critical awareness.

The training will continue with further thematic sessions designed to strengthen collective expertise and support the project’s mission to make people informed and responsible about artificial intelligence.
